Described by *Klassik Centraal* as possessing a true Mozartian voice, Julie Vercauteren has performed the role of Annio (*La clemenza di Tito*) at the Mozartiade Festival in Brussels.

The luminous timbre of her voice allows her to perform repertoire spanning both soprano and coloratura mezzo-soprano roles—a range that suits her perfectly.

This coming season promises to be particularly rich for Julie Vercauteren. She will return to the operatic stage at the Opéra de Reims to sing the role of Agathe (a journalist) in *Un match*—a new work by Benoît Menut and David Christoffel—performing alongside the Orchestre des Frivolités Parisiennes.

Julie will also appear as the soprano soloist in André Caplet’s *Le Miroir de Jésus* with the Sturm und Klang orchestra; this unique work recounts the story of Christ through the eyes of Mary. The season will also place significant emphasis on education and young audiences, featuring a series of performances at venues such as the Cité Bleue in Geneva and the Centre for Fine Arts (BOZAR) in Brussels, as well as new productions with Camping Cosmos designed to introduce toddlers to Baroque music.

Several collaborations are scheduled for the coming months, including a series of productions with the Namur Chamber Choir and performances of Bach’s motets with the BachPlus ensemble.

Finally, Julie Vercauteren will conclude this first part of the season in December in Montreal, performing Mozart’s *Requiem* alongside the Radio Ville-Marie Choir (Radio-Canada) under the direction of Simon Fournier.
