Recently graduated from McGill University under the guidance of Maestro Stefano Algieri, the Young Tenor MEHDI MIKAEILZADEH shines with his dazzling lyrical timbre which allows him to brilliantly interpret both the refined roles of French operas and the repertoire of Italian verismo.


A Canadian citizen since 2016, Mehdi has performed in various opera productions and festivals in recent years, his last engagement was in Italy as a guest soloist for "I giovani all'opera" at Busto Arsizio in Milan. He is preparing for a new schedule of performances in the coming months.


Mehdi started his singing journey as a member of "Tehran Choir" in Iran in 2010 while taking classical singing lessons. In 2013 he moved to Istanbul and became a chorister and soloist of the ''Koral Istanbul Choir'' participating in many concerts and continuing to take singing lessons. At the beginning of 2015, Mehdi was accepted to be part of a quartet called "Singers of United Lands" based in the United States, and for five months he toured the United States singing in various concert halls, universities , churches and schools.


Since graduating in 2020, he has been under the guidance of Montreal-based vocal coach and pianist Dr. Dana Nigrim.
