Véronique Lussier is a musician at heart. When she stands at the music stand, you feel the love of music in every stroke of her baton.
Sensitive, precise, she exudes a contagious emotional intensity which she transmits with passion and energy to musicians and the public.
She is dynamic, unifying, creative, rigorous and versatile.
A career as a conductor and director artistic
Véronique has been applauded on numerous international stages.
She has conducted in Bulgaria (Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra), the Czech Republic (Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra) and the United States (Boulder Chamber Orchestra).
She has worked with great maestros, including Johannes Schlaefli, Kirk Trevor, Tomas Netopil, Donald Schleicher, Lawrence Gohan, Michael Charry, Yoav Talmi and Peter Csaba.
Véronique is artistic director and conductor of the I Medici di McGill Orchestra. She has also been guest conductor of several orchestras, festivals, events and music schools, including:
Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre philharmonique du Québec, Orchestre classique de Montréal, Société de musique contemporaine du Québec, Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke, Sinfonia de Lanaudière, Bradyworks Productions, Festival Classica, Cirque Éloize, Nouvel Ensemble Moderne, Concerts-bénéfice Institut du Cancer de Montréal, Ottawa University Pops Symphony Orchestra, Festival Montréal/Nouvelles Musiques, Orchestre symphonique de l'Université de Montréal, Chambristes de la Montérégie, Conservatoire de musique Montérégie, École Vincent-d’Indy, Festival Stella, Orchestre des jeunes de l’Université de Montréal, etc.
She was also an assistant conductor at the National Music Festival, on the Opus Prize Jury and directed a musical score in the film Arrival by filmmaker Denis Villeneuve.
Brilliant studies
To get there, Véronique did brilliant studies.
She earned a doctorate in orchestral conducting from the Université de Montréal, a master's degree in choral conducting from the Université de Sherbrooke, and a bachelor's degree in classical piano and pedagogy from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
She studied under the guidance of prestigious musicians such as Jean-François Rivest, Paolo Bellomia, Robert Ingari, and Pierre Jasmin.

Audience Development
She was founder, artistic director and conductor of the Projet Ambassadeur de l’Orchestre philharmonique du Québec. This project of several concerts of classical and popular music with multimedia, carried out in collaboration with Développement des publics de la musique au Québec, made it possible to contribute to the influence of culture, to the democratization of classical music, to the revitalization of historical heritage of several municipalities. It also highlighted numerous artists, including several emerging artists.
Teaching
Véronique's experience in musical pedagogy in schools, her conferences and the Steinberg Projects for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and the University of Montreal give her a deep knowledge ofwevision of the multidimensional and beneficial scope of music.
Event Production
Véronique is founder and artistic director of VLM Productions and the Humana Orchestra.

PROJECTS
Véronique has more than ten years of experience in musical teaching in schools. As a conductor, her youth concerts and conferences for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra (OSM) as well as the University of Montreal (UdeM) give her a deep conviction in the multidimensional and beneficial scope of music.
