Discovered at the Saint-Eustache Opera Festival's public performance on March 4, 2025, Robert Falby made a great impression with his interpretation of Puccini's Elgar aria.
A soloist at the Théâtre d'art lyrique de Laval, where leading roles were performed brilliantly. A soloist for several productions at Coracole, showcasing his versatility and ability to adapt to different musical styles. A guest artist singing with the Orchestre des Basses Laurentides, a recognition of the quality and depth of his musical interpretation.
As an occasional professional chorister with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, he was an enriching experience that allowed him to work with world-renowned musicians.
He began piano lessons at the age of 5, which marked the beginning of a passion for music. At the age of 17, he entered CEGEP in classical singing, where his vocal skills were refined and perfected. He continued his studies at the University of Montreal in classical singing performance in Gail Desmarais's class, a period marked by memorable performances and significant artistic growth.
He participated in the UQAM Lyric Workshop under the direction of Colette Boky, offering opportunities to perform on stage and collaborate with other talented artists.
He competed in the international singing competitions of Toulouse and Bordeaux, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a desire to compete with the best.
