Pianist


He obtained a master's degree from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal in 2006. Originally from Bas-St-Laurent, Jérémie Pelletier obtained his master's degree in April 2006 from the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal where he worked on interpretation with Suzanne Goyette, chamber music with André Laplante and vocal accompaniment with Louise-Andrée Baril.

From 2003 to 2005, he collaborated with the opera session and the Académie National d'Art Lyrique Français (ANALF) of the Camp Musical des Laurentides. Between 2004 and 2006, he was a pianist-accompanist for the Jeunesses Musicales Du Canada tours in the productions of Die Fledermaus by J. Strauss and Die Zauberflöte by W.A. Mozart.

Jérémie Pelletier collaborates as a rehearsal pianist, accompanist and vocal coach with several organizations such as the Opéra de Montréal, the Orchestre Métropolitain, the McGill Chamber Orchestra, the Voxpopuli Opera-Theater, ICAV, IVAI, Viva Virginia, Highlands Opera, the OSM and the Atelier Lyrique of the Opéra de Montréal, where he completed three seasons in 2011 as a trainee pianist.

He can also be heard regularly on Radio-Canada CBC. Among the productions in which he has participated: Aleacanto, Les Amoureux Célèbres, Le Téléphone, Nelligan, Le Quatrième Enfant Lune, Cosi Fan Tutte, The Consul (Atelier Lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal); Nozze di Figaro, Il Trovatore, Bohème, Tosca, Cendrillon, Macbet (Opéra de Montréal); Mr. Seguin's Goat (Voxpopuli); Opera Mozart! (McGill Chamber Orchestra) Nuits Blanches (OSM); La FIlle du Régiment, Don Giovanni, Le Portrait de Manon, Die Fledermaus (IVAI-ICAV) A scholarship recipient from the Canada Council for the Arts and Letters, Jérémie Pelletier also received the Galaxie 2010 Scholarship, aimed at stimulating and promoting Canadian musical talent.

In April 2012, he recorded an album with soprano Karine Boucher, on the Productions 21 label.
