Maxime Martin-Vo,
Bass
Originally from Montreal, bass Maxime Martin-Vo completed his vocal studies at McGill University. He recently performed the roles of Colline (La Bohème) and Basilio (Il Barbiere Di Siviglia) at ItalfestMTL under the direction of Maestro Jean-Michel Malouf, as well as Angelotti (Tosca) with the Ensemble Lyrique de Montréal. He was also a soloist for Mozart's Requiem with the Hawkesbury Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Marc Trautmann with the FestivalOpera de Saint-Eustache.
In recent years, he has also performed several other roles, including Don Magnifico (La Cenerentola), Publio (La Clemenza di Tito), Bartolo (Le Nozze di Figaro), Bartolo (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) and Marchese/Dottore (La Traviata).
Recipient of the Kenneth Woodman Scholarship from McGill University, he also distinguished himself during the final of the Canadian Music Competition in 2018, where he won first place in his category.
